Tracy Thomas Gough
Tracy Thomas Gough established the Gough Group in 1929, alongside brothers Edgar Gough and Harry Hamer. During the late 1930s Edgar and Harry left the company, leaving Tracy to grow the firm into a wide-ranging engineering and related services group employing around 1000 people in New Zealand and Australia.
The Gough Group is a diverse entity spanning several international premium brands across a wide range of sectors in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. After travelling to the US, Tracy secured the Caterpillar franchise, which enabled the launch of Gough, Gough and Hamer to become one of Australasia’s leading infrastructure development companies.
